The Dancing Never Stopped

If you want your reception to be a relaxed, laid-back reception for your guests then let it naturally turn into a huge dancing party.  Have food stations instead of a formal meal.  Encourage your guests to eat whenever they were hungry, dance whenever they were ready and visit with the wedding couple whenever they are nearby.

Pass on most of the traditional events possibly even tossing the bouquet and garter during the open dancing.  Rather than stop the dancing for the formal cake cutting,  opt to cut the cake” under the radar” with no fanfare while the photographer and videographer capture the private dessert exchange.  Treat the guests to their own individual cupcakes.
